Tangerang, April 10, 2026 – PT Trimitra Trans Persada Tbk (B-LOG) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s evolving distribution needs, particularly for temperature-sensitive products, through the continued strengthening of its integrated 3PL cold chain services. The commitment was highlighted during the Bisnis Indonesia forum titled “Tantangan dan Peluang Industri Cold Chain di Indonesia” at GIICOMVEC 2026 on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
As an archipelagic country, Indonesia has an increasing need for logistics systems capable of maintaining product quality, especially for temperature-sensitive commodities such as processed food products, fisheries products, and daily consumer goods. Along with evolving consumer behavior, the demand for temperature-controlled distribution continues to grow and is no longer limited to major cities, but is becoming increasingly relevant for frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped regions (3T areas), emerging growth regions, and tourism destinations.
Director General of Transportation Integration and Multimodal Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, M. Risal Wasal, stated that the development of Indonesia’s cold chain industry requires comprehensive readiness, not only in transportation modes but also in handling continuity, infrastructure support, and the overall efficiency of the logistics system.
“Changes in consumer behavior are driving the need for a more integrated cold chain system to maintain product quality from upstream to downstream. This aligns with the development of Indonesia’s economic corridors, where each region plays a strategic role, such as Java as the center of industry and services, Bali-Nusa Tenggara as a tourism gateway, and Sulawesi with its abundant fisheries potential. These differences in regional characteristics highlight the importance of integrated logistics connectivity, particularly cold chain systems, to ensure product quality is maintained until products reach markets and tourism destinations. As the government, we have strengthened regulations and the national logistics system, including the development of multimodal efficiency and digitalization. Going forward, support from industry players will be crucial to ensuring that this system operates effectively and maintains product quality consistently,” said M. Risal Wasal.
This perspective highlights that strengthening the cold chain industry is not only related to logistics capacity, but also to handling continuity, infrastructure readiness, and the overall efficiency of the logistics system.
In response to these challenges, as a company operating in the 3PL cold chain sector, B-LOG believes that current industry demands require operational readiness that is not only extensive in terms of distribution coverage, but also consistent in maintaining product quality throughout the entire distribution process.
Following the Company’s listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in July 2025, B-LOG has continued to strengthen the foundation of its 3PL cold chain services as part of its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s national distribution needs.
“With B-LOG being listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, this marks our readiness to contribute to strengthening the national logistics system, particularly the cold chain sector. We are prepared to support Indonesia’s cold chain logistics needs through the reinforcement of three main pillars: expanding distribution networks, strengthening human resource readiness, and leveraging adaptive technology systems,” said Gerry Ardian, Chief Innovation Officer of B-LOG.
As an industry player, B-LOG sees that the growing demand for cold chain services increasingly requires integrated and consistent operations. This includes temperature control from the storage stage until products are delivered to end customers. Supported by cold storage infrastructure and cold chain transportation fleets, B-LOG continues to strengthen its operational readiness to meet the growing distribution demands across various regions in Indonesia.
This operational readiness is further reinforced through collaboration with PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) as a commercial vehicle provider, supporting B-LOG’s distribution fleet, particularly for the transportation of temperature-sensitive products.

“We understand that cold chain operations require reliable vehicles that are ready to operate under various conditions. Therefore, we continue to strengthen our fleet support and services to ensure the smooth operation of this industry,” said Aji Jaya, Sales & Marketing Director of PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors.
Through strengthened operations and fleet support, B-LOG aims to ensure that distribution and storage processes can operate more consistently across various regions, while also addressing the growing and increasingly complex demands of the cold chain logistics industry.
Currently, B-LOG is supported by more than 3,400 fleet units and 15 storage facilities across various regions in Indonesia. In maintaining product quality consistency, B-LOG also implements a high-velocity operations system in its warehouse management processes, ensuring that products are not stored for extended periods and can reach the market more quickly while maintaining their quality.
Through these initiatives, B-LOG delivers more structured logistics services to maintain product distribution quality while addressing the continuously evolving needs of the industry.
